Strict and departmental actions will be taken against the responsible of the wheat crisis
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – President Arif Alvi on Monday while acknowledging the increasing inflation in the country said that those found responsible for the wheat and sugar crisis will be sent home.
According to a statement issued on Monday, the president said that inflation has increased and it is worrying that more than 2 million people have been unemployed in two years.
Alvi said that strict disciplinary and departmental action will be taken against those responsible of the wheat crisis.
“The flour crisis was a management issue,” he said and added those found responsible for the wheat crisis will be sent packing. “Strict and departmental actions will be taken against the responsible of the wheat crisis.”
The president said the government would need courage to encounter mafia. He said that 40,000 children are being educated in artificial intelligence, adding that exports in the IT sector are likely to increase while exports have grown 2 percent.
Talking about former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Arif Alvi said that the PML-N supremo had promised to return and he should return.
