Police arrest two JUI-F workers for violating Section 144
Police stated that JUI-F workers have been inciting the general public to participate in the protest
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Police on Monday arrested two workers of the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) for allegedly violating Section 144 imposed in Islamabad by the district administration.
Sources told the media that JUI-F workers Maulana Shafiq-ul-Rehman and Maulana Muhammad Arshad were arrested by police while they were putting up banners of the planned Azadi March by the end of Oct. Officers also seized their banners.
Police stated that JUI-F workers have been inciting the general public to participate in the anti-government agitation.
