BAGHDAD (Dunya News) – Senator Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif on Wednesday exposed gross violations of human rights, brutalities and atrocities by Indian troops in occupied Kashmir during a meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Standing Committee on Budget and Planning held in Baghdad, Iraq.

He raised the issue of Kashmir and said the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir were being subjected to brutal torture and humiliation and the international community must take notice of the crimes.

To this, Indian delegation constantly interrupted his speech and started making noise.

Saif urged the leadership of Asian region to come forward and shun differences to pave the way for peace, stability and economic growth of the region.

He observed that the whole Asian region was in the limelight due to terrorism, extremism, political instability, economic downfall and poverty.

He observed that Modi has been committing crimes against humanity and all his efforts were destined to fail.

He said that Pakistan wanted peaceful solution of Kashmir according to the United Nations Security Council resolutions and aspirations of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

Barrister Saif termed the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) as “an important platform for Pakistan” for contributing to Asian region to flourish and prosper.

Saif led a delegation including senators Sajjad Hussain Turi and Sana Jamali to participate in the important meeting scheduled to be held from Sept 3-5, 2019.
