ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan on Sunday said Pakistan is committed to complete the Kartarpur project for Sikh pilgrims from India and all over the world so that they can perform their religious rituals freely and conveniently.
In a tweet, the special assistant said Kartarpur is a sacred place for Sikh brothers and sisters and we deeply respect their religious sentiments. The corridor is the perfect example of interfaith harmony in the world, she added.
Dr Firdous said the white color in Pakistani flag that represents minorities is as dear to us as the green one that reflects Muslims. Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is committed to protect the rights of minorities in Pakistan as well as the world.
