The government threw inflation bomb on people by increasing the gas tariff by 140 percent
BAHAWALPUR (Dunya News) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice-president Maryam Nawaz on Wednesday while lashing out at government said that incompetent government is no less than a tragedy.
Addressing party workers in Bahawalpur on Wednesday, she said that it would be wrong not to mention what the country is going through, adding that the masses have not heard a single good news during the first nine months of the incumbent government.
The country’s 220 million people are being crushed under rising inflation.
“The government threw inflation bomb on people by increasing the gas tariff by 140 percent,” Maryam said.
The PML-N vice-president went on to say that incarcerated former prime minister Nawaz Sharif never asked her to raise voice for him but always advised her to go and raise voice for the people.
She also demanded the government to take notice of alleged rape and murder of 10-year-old Farishta in Rawalpindi.
