Punjab cabinet to review 13-point agenda

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Usman Buzdar on Wednesday is scheduled to preside over a meeting of the provincial cabinet to examine a 13-point agenda.

The cabinet is likely to approve the Growth Strategy and Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology.

The drafted bill of the Health Foundation Act will also be considered by the cabinet for approval. Besides, Workers Welfare Fund is also anticipated to get approved by the meeting.

The cabinet will consider an amendment in the Punjab Zakat and Usher Act, and approve reports of auditor general. Regularisation of the staff of medical colleges is also included in the cabinet’s agenda.

Importantly, the provincial cabinet will give its final approval for Ramazan package 2019 and the set up of fair price shops across the province in Islamic month of Ramazan for facilitating the general public.

Furthermore, the matter of amendment in the LDA Land Use Act will also be analysed by the cabinet. Salary package of engineers of various departments will also be reviewed by the provincial cabinet.
