Nawaz Sharif's medical reports submitted to IHC.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The medical reports of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif have been presented to the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday (today) during his petition seeking bail from jail on medical grounds.

The two-member bench comprising Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani heard the plea.

Nawaz Sharif’s counsel Khawaja Haris said the matter is very sensitive as the health of former prime minister is not stable and the reports still suggest that angiography is needed to be done.

Khawaja Haris also claimed that Punjab government’s representative hid facts from the court in the previous hearing.

The court after hearing the arguments reserved the verdict which is likely to be announced next week.

Earlier, the IHC had sought a new medical report of incarcerated former premier Nawaz Sharif while hearing the petition.

Justice Amir Farooq had remarked that medical reports of the former premier bear different details. He directed to submit a new medical report of Nawaz Sharif from Jinnah Hospital.
