Will tackle all unified thieves simultaneously, Naeemul Haq on opposition's meeting

Haq suggested that the unison between opposition parties will make things effortless for government.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Naeemul Haq while reacting to the meeting of opposition members said that every thief and robber have united and will be tackled simultaneously.

“The law of former rulers has been culminated. Now law will rule over the country,” he asserted.

“The group that looted the country has joined hands. It will be a good sign if they reach to an agreement. We will then confront them all together,” maintained Haq.

He suggested that the unison between opposition parties will make things effortless for the government.

“The fall of Zardari and Sharif family has begun. They looted the nation brutally and have to answer for it,” articulated Nameeul Haq.

He stressed that the government believes on rule of law while adding that NAB is an independent institution and not answerable to them.


Opposition join hands


The Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly and Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PMLN) president Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday hosted a luncheon for opposition leaders in his chamber at Parliament House.

PPP supremo Asif Ali Zardari, chairman Bilawal-Bhutto Zardari, Sherry Rehman and Naveed Qamar, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam (JUI-F) MNAs Maulana Asad Mehmood and Maulana Abdul Wasay, Awami National Party leader Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, PML-N’s Ahsan Iqbal, a Balochistan National Party representative and other leaders were in attendance.

In the two-hour long meeting, the political leaders examined a possibility of joint opposition amid current ‘uncertain’ political situation in the country.

They decided to form a committee to devise a joint strategy on various issues. Moreover, a sub-committee will be set up to give tough time to military courts and government.
