Vawda assails Shehbaz Sharif on Mohmand Dam remarks
Says opposition hatching a conspiracy against the dam
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Water and Resources Faisal Vawda expressed his anger in the parliament over opposition leader’s remarks on Mohmand Dam.
While delivering his speech in National Assembly, the minister said, “a criminal came from the jail and gave wrong facts and figure on the dam. He is misguiding the nation in this regard,” he added.
Vawda said opposition parties are hatching a conspiracy against the dam and spreading a wrong narrative, added that if they (opposition parties) cannot understand English, we can provide Pepra rules’ copy in Urdu language.
While reacting on opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif’s walk out of the National Assembly, Vawda said he has no courage to listen the truth. After 54 years the dam project is still incomplete and the nation has been misguiding on it, he added.
