Estimating damage to public property to compensate affectees: Fawad Ch

The minister pointed out that both the sides have agreed to do trade in Chinese currency.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Information Minister Fawad Chaudhary on Monday said that the concerned authorities are estimating the damage to public property during the protest of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) to compensate the affectees.

Talking to the media in Islamabad, Fawad said that all the provinces have been directed to submit details in this regard till the evening.

He termed Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s visit to China as successful and said that historic agreements in diverse fields were signed between the two countries. 

China has always stood by Pakistan in difficult times and that Khan’s visit to China has further strengthened these strategic relations, he added.

The minister announced that Pakistan and China will open new doors of cooperation in the fields of agriculture and industries.

He pointed out that both the sides have agreed to do trade in Chinese currency which will help reduce burden on our foreign exchange reserves in dollar.

Fawad said that the finance minister and the Minister for Planning will brief about the Chinese economic package and cooperation on their return to the country. He also appreciated the maturity and stance of the opposition parties on the recent protests.
