ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Senator Rehman Malik has claimed that the contract for Result Management System (RMS) was given to a company owned by two Indian hackers and the company adviser is serving as a federal minister in the incumbent government.

While addressing a session of the Senate Standing Committee on Parliamentary Affairs, Malik claimed that the RMS did not experience any technical issue but was shut on orders.

He also claimed that the Election Commission of Pakistan did not know of the contract transfer to a third party. He demanded of the federal minister concerned to appear before the standing committee.

ECP officials told the committee they have referred the case to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further investigation.
