The minister says Saudi Arabia to be third strategic partner in CPEC

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry on Thursday said that former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif is not that important that he would have been discussed in Saudi Arabia.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Thursday, he said that the government wouldn’t let Nawaz Sharif go abroad, adding that his sons Hassan Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz and former finance minister Ishaq Dar would be brought back to Pakistan.

The minister said that Prime Minister Imran Khan doesn’t believe in any deal, and no concession will be given to Nawaz Sharif at any cost.

Fawad Chaudhry went on to say that the looted money of Pakistan will be retrieved back, adding that no foreign country asked for the release of Nawaz Sharif.

“Whatever the discripencies are in Nawaz Sharif’s case would be removed,” Chaudhry said and added the ex-prime minister’s case has not ended as he was only released on bail.

The minister said: “Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have assured to support each others, during PM Imran Khan’s two-days officials visit.”

“Saudi Arabia will invest in China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and will be the third big investor in the multi-billion dollar project,” Chaudhry added.
