PM Imran meets Chinese FM, Saudi information minister

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Prime Minister Imran Khan has met Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Islamabad today (Sunday).

Both the leaders discussed matters of mutual relation and corporation in diversified fields.

The premier also held meeting with Saudi Information and Culture Minister Dr Awwad bin Saleh Al-Awwad and talk over ways to further strengthen ties.

The Minister conveyed message of felicitation to Prime Minister Imran Khan on behalf of Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman. He also invited the Prime Minister to visit Saudi Arabia.

Awwad Bin Saleh Alawwad also conveyed felicitation of Saudi crown prince Mohammad bin Salman to Imran Khan on becoming Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Earlier, Chinese delegation led by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa.

In a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the meeting, matters related to regional security and bilateral cooperation came under discussion.

The Chinese foreign minister said that Pakistan-China relationship was based on convergence of views and mutual respect.

Wang Yi while appreciating professionalism of Pakistan Army said that the world should acknowledge Pakistan’s efforts towards regional peace and stability.

He appreciated security provided to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project and said that China believes in inclusive prosperity.
