Justice Siddiqui reference hearing adjourned till Tuesday
CJP says references against Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui will be disposed of in three days.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - The hearing of reference against Islamabad High Court Judge Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui has been adjourned till Tuesday.
The reference is being heard by five-member Supreme Judicial Council headed by Chief Justice Saqib Nisar. It includes judges of Supreme Court and chief justices of Sindh and Balochistan high courts.
In his remarks, the chief justice said the reference against Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui will be disposed of in three days. He said he wants to dispose of all references against superior judiciary before retirement.
He said if Justice Siddiqui is not found guilty, he would be given a clean chit.
