The PPP co-chairman says distinguished and prosperous Pakistan was our objective
KARACHI (Web Desk) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Friday claimed that the “splendid welcome” extended to party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has proved that if workers stay active victory will be of Bhutto’s.
In a statement issued on Friday, while thanking the people of Punjab, he said that a distinguished and prosperous Pakistan was “our objective”.
The ex-president said: “The echoes of Bhutto Slogan in Punjab is our victory as the splendid welcome of Bilawal has hit hard our opponents.”
Zardari said that their opponents were seeing defeat as according to him Bhutto’s lovers and Benazir’s devotees were on Bilawal’s side.
He went on to say that Benazir Bhutto restored the constitution; she worked for making provinces self-reliant by considering it her very mission.
“Today once again a prosperous Pakistan is our mission” he added.
