(WebDesk/DunyaNews) - The entire nation is still not out of the shock, it suffered just recently. The grisly blast in Mastung shattered the dream of peace, long-desired by the people of Pakistan. More than 149 people including Nawabzada Siraj Raisani, younger brother of former Balochistan chief minister Aslam Raisai, who was out on his election campaign, have been martyred.


It without a doubt is one of heart-breaking incidents after APS that Pakistani nation, especially the kith and kin of the killed ones, has to go through.


The dejected incident also attracted the attention of international media.

International community lamented the attack

International community mourned the tragic incident too. The Secretary General of OIC in a statement, extended his solidarity with Pakistan in its fight against terrorism and urged the Pakistani authorities to take all possible action to bring the perpetrators of the heinous action to justice.

“These attacks are cowardly attempts to deprive the Pakistani people of their democratic rights,” the US State Department said in a statement.

Consensus building before general election 2018

The attack was lethal one and took the lives of innocent people. Nawabzada Siraj Raisani was considered a true patriotic man who on various occasions, showed his immense love for Pakistan. It is hoped that the entire nation will rise to the occasion and the stakeholders across the board, will join hands against terrorists to stop any other dreadful incident, in any other city. Interior ministry has issued a notice to a number of politicians regarding threats to their lives from terrorists, it would be better to create consensus to tackle the menace of terrorism ahead of general election 2018.
