Bilawal will visit Thatta, Sajawal, Badin and Hyderabad to meet the locals and to hear the problems.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – As a part of election campaign, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Monday has left for interior Sindh.

Reaching Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Bilawal Bhutto addressed the rally and said that he feels a cordial relation with the people of Sindh. Opponents did not digest warm welcome of PPP in Lyari, he added.

PPP Chairman said that PPP does not believe in politics of violence and that conspiracy was behind stone pelting at PPP Rally in Lyari.

Bilawal is set to visit Thatta, Sajawal, Badin and Hyderabad to meet the locals and to hear their problems.

Earlier, enraged residents of Karachi’s Bihar Colony pelted stones at motorcade of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari. The women also took part in the protest. Some protesters also resorted to vandalism and broke window of the vehicle.

Later, Bilawal’s stalwarts came to his rescue and pelted stones back at the protesters. Additional contingent of police have been summoned to control the situation.

Police resorted to baton-charge to disperse the angry protesters. At least one member of the PPP was injured in the clashes and rushed to hospital for treatment.

Bilawal Bhutto’s spokesperson Mustafa Nawaz Khokar stated that those practicing politics of violence can’t halt our path. He said, “We responded to violence by political process. Tensions in area will rise if violence isn’t halted at earliest”.
