ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Opposition leader in National Assembly Syed Khurshid Shah on Monday asserted that federal government did not have mandate to table budget for financial year (FY) 2018-19.

Shah was talking to media in Islamabad. Startlingly, Shah termed presentation of budget by provincial government of Sindh as ‘necessity’.

“Nawaz Sharif’s [permanent] stay in London would have inflicted irretrievable loss on his political career. Had he not returned from London, his [political] war would have plummeted to zero”, claimed Shah.

The senior Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader warned all stakeholders that conflict among institutions was perilous which could potentially crumble country’s system.

While commenting on SC’s order to take back security from politicians, Shah warned that accusations would be hurled at court if anything untoward happens to politicians. He said, “Benazir’s martyrdom had occurred after Musharraf’s take back security”.
