MULTAN (Dunya News) – Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday accused federation of targeting masses of Karachi via power cuts while asserting that ‘fragile democracy’ had been practiced in country.

He was talking to media here in Multan today after offering condolences to Yousaf Raza Gillani on death of his nephew.

“Talks with federal government on issue of appointment of caretaker premier are underway. We [PPP and ruling PML-N] would finalize the name soon”, Bilawal told reporters while adding, “A strong democracy will ensure strong Pakistan”.

The junior Bhutto reiterated that PPP would make southern Punjab a new province if the party gains power in centre whereas he accused ousted premier Nawaz Sharif of hatching conspiracies against Benazir Bhutto and Junejo’s governments. He taunted that why Mian Saab [read Nawaz Sharif] did not remember sanctity of vote when he was receiving dictation from Ziaul Haq.

Bilawal urged all state-institutions to function under the allotted jurisdiction.
