Kulsoom Nawaz discharged from hospital
Begum Kulsoom Nawaz remained in a hospital in London for 24 hours.
LONDON (Dunya News) - Member of National Assembly (MNA) Kulsoom Nawaz was shifted to Myafairs apartment of Sharif family from a London hospital on late Sunday night.
Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) founder and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was admitted to a London hospital after her after health deteriorated. She remained in hospital for 24 hours.
Hassan and Hussain Nawaz remained with their mother in hospital. Dunya News learnt that she visited a hospital for her routine checkup and was admitted there for deteriorating health.
In late 2017, Kulsoom Nawaz was admitted to a London hospital for treatment of lymph nodes cancer. She underwent multiple surgeries and sessions of chemotherapy and was shifted to the family residence in posh Mayfair.
Kulsoom Nawaz was elected to National Assembly (NA) in September after she won by-polls in NA-120 against Dr Yasmin Rashid of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) among other candidates.
She contested the by-election after her husband, former premier and ex-head of PML-N Nawaz Sharif was disqualified as the premier on July 28, 2017 in a corruption probe.
