KARACHI (Dunya News) – Former finance minister Ishaq Dar claimed on Wednesday that certain hands were working for the fall of two families in Pakistan.
In an exclusive talk with senior anchorperson Kamran Khan, Dar alleged certain elements of hatching conspiracies to topple two political families of Pakistan.
He asserted that cases lodged against him with accountability courts by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) were bogus and to victimise him.
Statement of Dar has come days after he was elected a member of the Senate on Senate elections 2018 held on March 3. He said that he wishes to return to Pakistan but medics have recommended him to not travel for now.
Dar had flown to London late last year citing treatment for an ailment after corruption cases were lodged against him on order of the apex court.
Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi had approved three-month leave of then finance minister.
