ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – After retracting his resignation from the lower house, Sheikh Rasheed said that the parliamentarians are “sold material”, saying that parliament is a place where thieves gather under the banner of democracy.

Talking to Kamran Shahid on Dunya News programme “On The Front”, Sheikh Rasheed admitted that he pulled back his resignation on the advice of Imran Khan. He reaffirmed his stance of cursing the parliament, accusing it of planning against Khatm-e-Nabuwwat clause.

He predicted that both Maryam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif will go to jail. He claimed to expose the ruling PML-N before the people, adding that PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi asks the army to help him to pull people in his favour. “There is ongoing international agenda to defame the judiciary and army,” he said.

He said, “People will keep voting for Sheikh Rasheed.”

Rasheed said the condition of PPP in Punjab is miserable. He opined that the Hudaibiya Paper Mills case couldn t be ruled against Nawaz Sharif due to technical reasons.
