Accountability court adjourns Dar's case till Jan 2 after IHC stay order
No one appeared before the accountability court on Ishaq Dar's behalf in today's hearing.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The accountability court has on Thursday adjourned former finance minister Ishaq Dar’s assets beyond means case till January 2 after the Islamabad High Court (IHC) issued stay order against the non-bailable arrest warrants against him.

According to details, the hearing of the reference was held by judge Muhammad Bashir in which former director NADRA Syed Qaboos Aziz was summoned to record his statement as the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) witness.
NAB prosecutor told the court that the IHC issued stay order against Dar’s case. He further added that an application has been lodged to get the copy of the verdict, and requested the court to fix next hearing after holidays.
The prosecutor said Dar’s intentions of coming back will also be clarified by then. It is worth mentioning here that no one appeared before the accountability court on Ishaq Dar’s behalf in today’s hearing.
