Assets reference: 5 witnesses to record their statements against Dar today
Accountability court will record the testimony of five prosecution witnesses against Ishaq Dar today
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – The accountability court will resume hearing of National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) corruption reference pertaining to having assets beyond know sources of income against former finance minister Ishaq Dar today (Monday).
At least five prosecution witnesses will record their statements in the court of accountability court judge Muhammad Bashir in the presence of National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) prosecutors and Ishaq Dar’s lawyers.
The prosecution witnesses who will record their testimony against Ishaq today included Deputy Secretary Cabinet Division Wasif Hussain, a private bank officer Faisal Shehzad, Deputy Director Commerce Qamar Zaman, Director NADRA Qaboos Aziz and Director National Assembly Secretariat Sherdil Khan.
The accountability court has also sought a report regarding confiscation of the property of Ishaq Dar s guarantor.
