LONDON (Dunya News) – Disqualified premier Nawaz Sharif has complained on Wednesday in a media talk at his Mayfair residence that there are contradictions in the ‘system of Pakistan’.

Nawaz Sharif responded to some of the questions thrown at him in a brief interation by journalists in London as the ousted premier stepped out of his apartment.

He said that he is not afraid of prisons as this is not the first time he is encountered with tough scenario, politically. Former premier questioned the toppling of his government in 1999 claiming that the action that was taken against him had to legal backing.

The disqualified premier urged the people to pray for speedy recovery of his wife, Kulsoom Nawaz who underwent second chemotherapy in London earlier this week.

She was diagnosed with lymph nodes cancer early September and was flown to London ahead of NA-120 by-elections.

Kulsoom Nawaz won the by-polls beating Dr Yasmin Rashid of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf among other candidates by a dependable margin.
