Qandeel murder case: Abdul Qavi leaves for Lahore for polygraph test

Mufti Qavi left Multan under tight security arrangement for polygraph test in Lahore.

MULTAN (Dunya News) – Police along with Mufti Abdul Qavi, accused in Qandeel Baloch murder case, left Chehlek Police Station, Multan early Wednesday morning under tight security arrangement for polygraph test to be held in Lahore.

He will reach Lahore around 12:00noon and after some rest will undergo polygraph test at the Punjab Science Francis Agency at 4:00pm.

Qavi was arrested last week after his plea for bail was rejected by the court in Qandeel Baloch murder case.

Baloch also known by name Fauzia Azeem was strangled to death in a Multan house in July 2016. The murder was orchestrated by her younger brother and a cousin who were held by law enforcers following the incident.

Mufti Abdul Qavi who was stripped of his post in a government’s religion body following a meeting with the controversial social media star in Karachi, was named in the challan filed by police in the court following registration of a case.
