PTI chairman expressed his views in a media talk in Karachi.

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has on Tuesday said that the verdict declared by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to not de-seat Ayesha Gulalai from the National Assembly (NA) is unconstitutional.

PTI chairman expressed his views in a media talk in Karachi, and said it is PTI’s rightful demand as well as the constitutional requirement to evict her from the NA as she did not abide by the party rules. ECP should not give a perception that it is against PTI, he remarked.

Imran Khan bashed Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, terming him the biggest ‘disease’ of Sindh. He said Zardari mafia has illegally occupied interior Sindh where there are no rights for the poor.

Imran maintained that jobs are not given on merit in Sindh and government supports the culprits. He said the issues of Sindh are needed to be understood, and the money in the province is not spent on its people.

PTI chief said he has prepared special in-swing for Asif Zardari and is targeting his middle stump.

Imran Khan praised the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman and said he has taken good step and the nation has now high hopes from him.

Talking about Sharif family, he commented that people wave hands in the courts as if they have conquered some fort. He also talked about Shehbaz Sharif and said he is involved in corruption in Metro Bus project.

Imran Khan said Pakistan has given the most number of sacrifices for war on terror, and those who demand to ‘do more’ should acknowledge that instead of praising India.

On the other hand, PTI has announced to challenge ECP verdict regarding Ayesha Gulalai case. PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said Gulalai has stuck to the seat that was granted to her by the party.

Fawad also bashed Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (retd) Sardar Raza Khan and said he is making himself controversial. He said CEC owns a Land Cruiser, and news on social media are coming that his close relatives are being awarded with posts.

A case of supreme judicial commission should be launched against Sardar Raza Khan, added Fawad Chaudhry.
