Ahsan Iqbal's attack on ISPR part of Dawn Leaks agenda, says Imran Khan
PTI Chairman said the Sharif-Dar combine crushed the nation under debt for generations to come
(Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan reacted to the statements of Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal in which he told the ISPR DG to avoid commenting on country’s economy, saying that it is “part of Dawn Leaks agenda to malign the armed forces of Pakistan & appease hostile external powers”.
In a series of tweets, Imran Khan sided with Major General Asif Ghafoor who – while talking to Kamran Khan in yesterday’s show – told bluntly told that the economical situation should improve and that a better future strategy should be devised for prosperous future.

On the argument of the interior minister that Pakistan’s economy is still thrilling, Imran replied that the state of Pakistan’s economy is dismal which is known by the world. “Ahsan Iqbal s unwarranted attack on ISPR is absurd … (it) is part of the DawnLeaks agenda to malign the armed forces of Pakistan.”
“(Ahsan Iqbal wanted to) appease hostile external powers.”
Talking about the economic policies of the federal government led by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), he stressed that ex-PM Nawaz Sharif and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar are responsible for the poor condition. He claimed that such a debt has crushed the nation, adding that they cannot fool the people.
