Karachi: Accused killed in encounter with police
An extortionist was killed in exchange of fire in Sarjani Town area of Karachi on Monday.
KARACHI (Dunya News) – According to details, Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) police conducted a raid in Sarjani Town area of Karachi on Monday during which the accused opened fire. The law enforcement agencies returned the fire during which one accused was killed.
SSP AVCC informed media that the dead accused Kamran was involved in extortion and kidnapping for ransom cases. He further informed that other members of his gang escaped from the spot.
On the other hand, a man allegedly tortured his wife to death in Safora Goth area. Police sources said that the deceased was identified as Sehrish.
