NAB started investigation against Nawaz Sharif in illegal allotments of plots case

LAHORE: (Dunya News) – Another case against former Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif has on Monday been opened by National Accountability Bureau (NAB). The accountability bureau has started investigating allotment of illegal plots against t he former PM, reported Dunya News.

According to NAB sources, Nawaz Sharif illegally allotted plots to various people when he was Chief Minister of Punjab in the 1980s. The beneficiaries of the plots have been summoned for investigations. The summonses have been sent by police.

In all, NAB has summoned 13 people for investigations, including Chaudhry Abdur Rehman, Syed Farid uddin Ahmed, Syed Ali Kazmi, Muhammad Ashfaq, Syed Hasnaat Ahmad, Colonel (r) Ghazanfar Ali, Muhammad Khan, Muhammad Javed, Rukn uddin, Nazim Ali Shah and Khalid Akhtar.
