The ousted prime minister would board flight PK-786 back to Islamabad tonight: sources

LONDON (Dunya News) – Disqualified premier Nawaz Sharif is set return to Pakistan on Monday (September 24) morning at 08:00am according to the sources, contrary to reports of Sharif family extending its stay in London in bid to not  face  corruption references.

Sources privy to Pakistan International Airlines and Pakistani High Commission in the United Kingdom have reported that the ousted prime minister would board flight PK-786 back to Islamabad tonight.

Reportedly, the decision was taken today at breakfast with Punjab chief minister Shehbaz Sharif and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi. The ex-prime minister would fight the court cases against him pursued by accountability department.

It was reported earlier that Nawaz Sharif and finance minister, whose house was raided by NAB in his absence, had decided to not return to Pakistan.

On the other hand, Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of Nawaz Sharif has underwent a third surgery for lymph nodes cancer treatment and is recovering according to her medics.

Reportedly, Nawaz Sharif would appear for a court hearing on September 26 after notices were reissued for the family members in the last hearing.
