Three alleged terrorists killed in clash with security forces in DI Khan

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – At least three alleged terrorists were shot dead by the security forces during search operation in Dera Ismail Khan on Sunday, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported.

“On confirm intelligence, security forces carried out search operation in Gara Madda near Dera Ismail Khan. During search operation, suspected persons) on motorcycle started firing at troops once signaled to stop,” the ISPR stated.

Resultantly, three terrorists identified as Iqbal, Waheed and Majid were shot dead. Terrorist Iqbal carried a bounty of Rs1 million.

In February this year, Pakistan Army launched Operation Raddul Fasaad after suicide attack on Lal Shahbaz Qalandar shrine that claimed the lives of more than 100 people.

According to the Army, the operation aims at indiscriminately eliminating residual and latent threat of terrorism, consolidating gains of operations made thus far and further ensuring security of the borders.
