PM Abbasi arrives in Lahore, meets Nawaz Sharif

The premier was received by Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has arrived in Lahore to discuss energy crisis and development projects with senior party leadership.

According to details, the premier was received by Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif and other senior officials at the Lahore Airport.



Later, Shahid Khaqan met ex-prime minister Nawaz Sharif at Jati Umrah who directed him to eliminate power outrages and complete developments projects.

Prime Minister Abbasi also briefed the meeting about his recent interactions with parliamentarians and members of the Party.

Shehbaz Sharif and Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar were also present on the occasion. 

Earlier talking to PML-N senators, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi said our policies have projected positive image of the country at international level and restored the confidence of the international community, especially foreign investors.

Discussing various policy initiatives relating to security, economy and development, he said performance of the present government is better than the past ones.

He said we have given a concept of corruption free governance and it is a matter of pride for us that not even a single case of corruption has surfaced in development projects during the last four years.
