RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – United States Central Command (CENTCOM) Combatant Commander General Jospeh paid a visit to North Waziristan on Saturday and the delegation was briefed on army’s operations against banned outfits.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that General Joseph led the delegation that was briefed about situation at Pakistan-Afghanistan border, border management and rehabilitation and development projects underway.

The United States delegation lauded Pakistan Army’s efforts and sacrifices rendered in war on terror.

The delegation also paid a visit to Army Public School (APS) in Miranshah.

The CENTCOM commander is on a two-day visit to Pakistan and convened a meeting with Prime Minister (PM) Shahid Khaqan Abbasi earlier in the day today (August 19).

General Joseph called on army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa on August 18 in General Headquarters (GHQ).
