Neo’s shadi obsession

Neo television carried a story this week after Coke Studio season 10 released Daniyal Zafar and Momina Mustehsan duet.

The story claimed that the two have decided to get hitched for life.

What?

Neo! If two artists have a noticeable chemistry while performing a single, you don’t get them married.

People have their opinions on the song but we are not gonna go there. To each his own. However, Neo’s shadi obsession is no cool.

Stop it. Umer Akmal doesn’t need no schooling. FYI he champions discipline.

Umar Akmal is back after boxing the hell out of London. He’s back to madr-e-watan. Younger of the Akmal brothers addressed a press conference in Model Town park this week and complained that he was schooled on discipline by Mickey Arthur.

He accused Arthur of throwing in some cuss words during a heated monologue.

According to him Arthur asked him to leave National Cricket Academy and play club cricket because that is what he was good enough for.

Well, the cricket board has strongly backed Arthur, the head coach which can be translated into a statement that Arthur was right (haha).

Akmal had urged the PCB chairman to take notice of the incident and keep a check on coaching staffers’ behaviour with the players. A day later, Akmal stated that a dummy fitness test for staged for him just to get him dropped off Champions Trophy 2017 squad.

Anyways, let us not leave the focus here. Umar Akmal got the much needed schooling and the second moment he was seen wiping his tears (metaphorically) infront of the cameras.

Pervaiz Rashid’s ghost statement and what angered Nisar Ali Khan

Former information and broadcasting minister Rashid spoke to a telly after quite long we’d contest won’t you? In his exclusive talk with a private television channel, he branded ouster of Nawaz Sharif a work of the ‘ghost’ of former dictator Musharraf.

He did not explain his statement and we are bound to say that we don’t know what he meant.

However, he also said that ‘whatsapps’ happened, ‘JITs happened’ but the ‘interior’ continued to govern the ministry. Subsequently, it was learnt that he had taken a jab against then interior minister Nisar Ali Khan and it did not go well for Rashid after that.

In a reaction offered by Nisar’s spokesperson, he chastised the sacked broadcasting minister.

Had the sacked minister explained his statement, Nisar would have revealed the kind of help he was seeking off ministry’s authority over Dawn Leaks, the spokesperson hit.

He further said that Rashid was attempting to dump burden of his weaknesses onto the minister with a statement like that one.

Rashid should have explained the conspiracy he referred to in his statement instead of leaving people solving an apparent riddle that he posed.
