Revoking Articles 62, 63 unacceptable: JUI-F Chief Fazl-ur-Rehman
JUI-F Chief Fazal ur-Rehman met ex-premier Nawaz Sharif today to discuss political matters
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazal ur-Rehman met the ex-premier Nawaz Sharif in Lahore today to express his reservations during the meeting that he does not agree with the ruling party’s approach regarding the decision to revoke Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Maulana Fazal ur-Rehman highlighted that revoking the article 62, 63 would be equal to maligning the spirit of constitution of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The two political leaders, Maulana Fazal ur-Rehman and Nawaz Sharif, discussed the ongoing political scenario and the circumstances the ruling party and its ally face in the ensuing political climate of the country. The JUI-F Chief addressed the media after the meeting.
