PM Abbasi allots portfolios to advisors, special assistants

PM Abbasi maintained the same advisers and special assistants, included in Nawaz Sharif cabinet

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Abbasi allotted portfolios to four advisors and foive special assistants. The advisors have been granted the status equivalent to that of federal ministers while the special assistants will work in the capacity of state ministers.

Ameer Muqam will be the adviser on political affairs. Sardar Mehtab Abbasi will be the adviser to PM regarding Aviation. Irfan Siddiqui will be the adviser on cultural affairs. Jam Mashooq Ali will advise the PM regarding IRSA. The new advisors will serve in capacity of federal ministers.

Amongst the Special Assistants to Prime Minister Abbasi, Dr Musaddiq Malik is appointed as Special assistant to PM Abbasi on Media affairs, Barrister Zafarullah for legal affairs, Khawaja Zaheer Ahmed for Institutional reforms, Dr Asif Kirmani for political affairs and Dr Miftah Ismail for Economic affairs. The new special assistants have been granted status of state ministers.

The new cabinet memberrs also served in the same capacity during Nawaz Sharif’s government. The cabinet of PM Abbasi has 57 members.
