KARACHI (Dunya News)- Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday has challenged Sindh government’s National Accountability Ordinance 1999, Repeal Bill 2017 in Sindh High Court (SHC).

As per details available, PTI’s Sindh President Arif Alivi, MPA Khurrum Sher Zaman and Ali Zaidi reached SHC today and filed separate petitions challenging Sindh’s law which curbed National Accountability Bureau’s (NAB) jurisdiction in the province. The petitioners pledged court to declare new law annul by suspending it.

“Cancellation of NAB ordinance is violation of constitution whereas Sindh govt wants to hide its corruption,” said PTI leaders while talking to media.

Muttahida Quami Movement Pakistan and Functional League have already challenged the aforementioned bill.
