Khan addressed a rally in Rawalpindi tonight

RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has laid bare during Liaquat Bagh rally on Sunday night that workers and the party leadership would put resistance against possible approval of the parliament to repeal Article 62 and Article 62 that caused Nawaz Sharif’s disqualification.

Khan addressed a rally in Rawalpindi tonight which was participated by senior PTI representatives as well as Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Sheikh Rasheed.

PTI chairman said that not one minister across Pakistan has been nabbed for corruption since General Elections 2013 whereas Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, led by PTI government, is an exception.

He put forth a four-point agenda to the people calling the people to unite against corrupt leaders in Pakistan and make the country cleaner among other calls.

Khan reiterated that the purpose behind Grand Trunk Road ‘homecoming rally’ was to pressurise accountability department which is tasked to file five references against the disqualified premier, three of which against Nawaz Sharif.

PTI chief has announced to resist repealing of the constitution articles a day after Nawaz Sharif voiced support to Senate Chairman Raza Rabbani s call for the chief justice, military leaders and the civil leaders to strike a consensus for parliament s supremacy.
