CM K-P Pervez Khattak has launched efforts to gain support from MPA's belonging to rival parties

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - The horse-trading activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) has reached an unprecedented level whichhas invited criticism from the general public. CM K-P Pervez Khattak has launched political games for opportunism as he faces dilemma of impeachment.

Pervez Khatak has taken steps for ensuring hard-hitting replies to PTI’s political rivals by displaying his strong footing in the K-P assembly, the extent of which has shocked entire nation. He has been successful in gaining allegiance of Qaumi Watan Party’s (QWP) MPA Abrar Hussain.

MPA Abrar Hussain is the QWP’s representative, who was included as Minister in PTI-led K-P cabinet. The QWP provincial minister was dismissed on corruption charges. Another provincial minister, Bakht Beydar, was also fired from his position as he was deemed an accomplice to Abrar Hussain’s illegal activities. However, ignoring party policy of QWP, the situation changed for MPA Abrar Hussain after he pledged support for Pervez Khattak in case the ‘vote of no confidence’ is brought against the current Chief Minister of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa.

The meeting between MPA Abrar Hussain and CM K-P Pervez Khattak has reversed the situation as the previous discord was resolved on basis of individually mutual self-interests. The development has shocked the rivals of Khattak and also caused tension for the party workers belonging to both sides.
