Gifts details: Jahangir Tareen submits reply over Hanif Abbasi's plea in SC
Tareen has said in the reply that Abbasi's initial petition has not raised the issue of gifts.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen on Thursday submitted his reply on Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Hanif Abbasi’s miscellaneous plea over gifts details.
Tareen has said in the reply that Abbasi’s initial petition has not raised the issue of gifts however; the miscellaneous plea was filed for hidden aims.
The petitioner wants to extend the time period of judicial proceedings and article-184, it added.
The reply says that the PTI leader has submitted his tax record in the court however; the applicant is not entitled to seek relevant documents under any law.
Tareen’s reply has requested the court to dismiss Abbasi’s plea as the record submitted in court bears the record of gifts.
