Lahore: CTD apprehends two terrorists, recovers arms
At least two terrorists of a banned outfit were arrested in CTD operation in Lahore on Tuesday.
LAHORE (Dunya News) - The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted an operation on an intelligence report and arrested two terrorists of a banned outfit from Lahore’s Walton Road on Tuesday, Dunya News reported.
According to CTD spokesman, the arrested terrorists Ali Noor and Sartaj Khan were members of a banned organization. The spokesman also informed that hand grenades and other explosive material was also recovered from their possession.
The spokesman further said that the terrorists revealed during initial interrogation that they were planning to target law enforcement agencies in the city.
The arrested terrorists were shifted to some undisclosed lovation for further investigation.
