ISPR said Pakistan Army engineers neutralise IEDs 'skillfully' and ground troops established posts

(Web Desk) – Operation Khyber-4 has been successfully eradicating terrorism from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) regions. One sepoy embraced shahadat due to improvised explosive device (IED) blast on Friday, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The ground troops of Pakistan Army have established their posts on significant heights of Rajgal Valley situated in Khyber Agency, KP. While the soldiers of Pak Army have been quick to march forward, the engineers skillfully neutralized IEDs and provided their support during clearance operations.

The army Jawan named Muhammad Yasir, who was martyred in the IED blast, was paid tribute by the state force with funeral prayer at Peshawar Garrison on Friday.

Khyber-IV was launched on July 16 and its aim is defend the country from Islamic State (IS) infiltration from Afghanistan to tribal areas. Yesterday, 13 terrorists were killed and Pak Army soldiers cleared 90 square kilometer land from the occupation of terrorist outfits.
