Residents of various areas in Hyderabad staged protest against continuous power outage on Thursday.

HYDERABAD (Dunya News) – Residents of different areas in Hyderabad staged a protest against continuous power outage in their localities on Thursday, Dunya News reported.

According to details, transformers in Latifabad No-5, Halli Road, Talab No-3 and Christian Colony are out of order for the past several days. Residents of the area have repeatedly requested Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) employees for change of the transformer. Getting no positive response from HESCO officials, the residents staged a protest


Angry residents of Latifabad No-5, Halli Road, Talab No-3 and Christian Colony, who are without electricity for the past several days as transformers in these areas are out of order, staged protest and blocked various roads in the city by burning tyres.

The protesters also chanted slogans against the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (HESCO) administration. Residents of the area said that despite repeated requests the HESCO officials failed to change the transformers.
