'Anyone responsible for Ahmadpur Sharqia incident will be brought to justice'
The minister urged the media to observe more care while broadcasting sensitive and graphic footages
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – State minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has said on Sunday that if anyone is found responsible for the oil tanker accident in Ahmadpur Sharqia incident, would be brought to justice.
In an exclusive talk with Dunya News, Aurangzeb said that the entire nation is saddened by the tragic incident that occurred a day before Eid-ul-Fitr.
She urged the media to observe more care while broadcasting sensitive and graphic footages.
The state minister said that it was media’s job to disseminate information to the public and that everyone respects the duties that channels have to shoulder. However, she added that it was part of media’s job to ensure adherence of code of conduct.
She further urged the reporters to abstain from interviewing children, women and bereaved families after untoward incidents.
