KARACHI (Daily Dunya) - Sindh government has issued notification pertaining to pillion riding ban in Hyderabad and Karachi on the occasion on Youm-e-Ali (RA).

Earlier, Sindh police had requested the provincial government to impose ban on pillion riding and mobile phone service in the province to maintain law and order situation on the occasion on Youm-e-Ali (RA).

In a letter to the government, police have said that there are credible reports of terrorist attacks in the major cities on the occasion of Youm-e-Ali and asked the provincial government to impose ban on pillion riding and mobile phone service for one day.

It is likely that the mobile phone services will also be suspended in the cities.
