Punjab CM also promised to install over 200 WIFI spots in five big cities

LAHORE (Dunya News) – While addressing to an event, Shehbaz Sharif promised to distribute fifty thousand tablet devices amongst school children.

He also vowed to install 200 WIFI spots in five big cities of Punjab including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad and Bahawalpur.

Punjab CM was invited at the inauguration ceremony of WIFI Service Program in Arfa Software Technology Park. He shed light on the importance of using the latest technology for progress.

He said that Punjab government had provided Information Technology Labs in five thousand schools while attendance system of teachers had been improved through information technology system in the province.

“We got rid of Patwari culture through digital land records and reformed police stations by computerised system,” he mentioned.
