Sindh Rangers have also confined their movements within the city

KARACHI (Dunya News) – It has been three days since the Sindh Rangers had scarcely carried out any special operation let alone snap checking and patrolling, after the expiry of special powers.

The Sindh government has on the other hand; completely ignored the matter as any kind of notification regards to the extension of powers has not been issued as yet.

Moreover, Rangers’ contingents have been called back from check-posts, institutes and also Jinnah Hospital as the special powers assigned to them have expired three days back.

Meanwhile, Sindh Rangers have also confined their movements within the city.

On the other hand, situations almost went out of control at Karachi University as the employees union stage a demonstration while blocking the administration block.

However, despite the scene being created at KU, Rangers didn’t reach the venue and the administration had to call the police instead in order to tackle the situation.
