Islamabad court told FIA to submit official procedure for issuing red warrants within two days

ISLAMABAD: (Dunya News) – An Islamabad court has on Thursday postponed the decision on a petition demanding issuance of red warrants for former President Pervez Musharraf’s arrest. The court ordered Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to submit the formal procedure of issuing red warrant within two days, reported Dunya News.

A subordinate court in Islamabad postponed the decision in Ghazi Abdul Rasheed case. Pervez Musharraf’s lawyer also exchanged harsh words with the lawyer of the complainant in the courtroom. The judge left the courtroom upon this exchange.

Talking to media, Pervez Musharraf’s lawyer said that the state had become a party in a wrong case while Interior Ministry has stated that the complainant isn’t the affected party. Court has postponed the hearing of the case till April 10.
