WEB DESK (Dunya News) – Like other places, the Earth Hour was also observed at Dunya News head office on Saturday.
The non-essential lights within the head office of Dunya News were switched off from 8.30 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. in order to show commitment to fight against global warming.
In addition, lights were either dimmed or shut off for one hour in various buildings across the country while calling attention to the hazards that the planet earth is facing.
The event that aimed to create awareness about global warming originated in Sydney and has since become a worldwide environmental campaign being observed throughout the world.
